Former First Minister Rhodri Morgan and Julie Morgan AM, Assembly Member for Cardiff North (Labour), will both be walking the Gold Route. Julie Morgan recently offered to meet PPL and discuss the reservoirs issue. PPL is the American multinational company who own the reservoirs . Despite Julie Morgan offering to travel to Allentown, Pennsylvania, at her own expense PPL have snubbed Julie's offer. PPL also own Western Power Distribution, the company that wants to build over 300 homes on the reservoir. See the blog for 2/7/11 for further details on this story.
Also, as noted in a previous blog post, Jenny Rathbone AM, Assembly Member for Cardiff Central (Labour), will be walking the Gold Route with her partner John Uden.
